Call for Nominations The National Academy of Sciences presents awards to recognize outstanding achievements in many different areas of science. Nominations for the 2009 awards will be accepted through September 15, 2008. Awards will be given in evolution, genetics, physics, astronomical physics, naval architecture, chemistry, biology, geology/paleontology, and social and political sciences. Awards for young investigators will be given in nanoscience, molecular biology, and psychology. Read more ...
