New Photo Exhibit at NAS

August 3, 2009 -- The National Academy of Sciences has unveiled "The Rarest of the Rare: Stories Behind the Treasures at the Harvard Museum of Natural History," an exhibition of photographs by Mark Sloan that documents rare scientific specimens with fascinating histories. The exhibit will be on display from Aug. 3 through Jan. 7 at the National Academy of Sciences building. A public reception with the artist is planned for Oct. 4, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
