Workshop Held on Children and Disasters

June 25, 2009 -- A public workshop of the National Research Council's Disasters Roundtable brought together policymakers, practitioners, and researchers to discuss how they can work together to reduce the vulnerability of children and youth during disasters. The daylong workshop was held in conjunction with the National Commission on Children and Disasters.
